  18. 2 tbsp Fnely chopped coriander

Steps to make to make Khatta dhokla

  1. Soak chana dal and rice in water for about 8 hours. Drain the excess water and grind it with curd and water. Take it out in a big bowl and mix it well by adding salt. Then leave to ferment in a warm place for 5 to 6 hours.
  2. Grease the steamer plate with oil. Heat 3 glasses of water at the bottom of the steamer. Add oil and chili-ginger-garlic paste, Eno fruit salt to the leavened batter and immediately pour it into a greased plate and sprinkle red chili powder over it and put it in the steamer.
  3. Steam it for 10 minutes on medium flame, let it cool for a while and cut with a cookie cutter. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a sauce pan.
  4. Add mustard, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, green chillies and curry leaves in it and prepare tadka,pour it on the dhokla and mix well.
